My sister developed a similar tactic to *thwart* fundraisers, specifically those who stand on the street to catch your attention ("Do you like puppies?" "Do you breathe oxygen?"). As soon as she catches sight of them, usually half a block away, she speeds up her gait and starts up a stream of nonstop chatter: "Yes, I do, thank you so much, you have a great day, you're doing great work out here, I love your shirt, oh the weather is beautiful isn't it?" Etc. She never slows down or stops talking. It's remarkably effective.
Moving fast to slowing down. Nice. Makes me think of the pickleball analogy of moving from a banger to a dinker.

Hire her. Help harness that energy before she turns into a supervillain who will end up busting thru your windows trying to sell you novelty socks.
