You know, Julie, it never occurred to me either until I read the story. In fact, the story sort of forgets about the gun because he gets preoccupied by what he's getting others. That's when some of the connections started making sense. And honestly, it wasn't until like 2 or 3 years ago that I realized it was his father who got him the gun and put it behind the drapes! Which totally makes sense because Ralphie is just like his dad. One has a BB gun and the other has a sexy leg lamp!
And you didn’t get the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, either. I’m an utter failure as a mother.
